Shanti's Travel Service ("we", "us") is a travel agency in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. This page explains what information this website handles and how.

What we collect, and why

When you send a trip inquiry (through Aria, our planning assistant) or sign up for deal alerts, we receive the details you choose to share — such as your name, email address and trip preferences. This information is emailed directly to our travel specialists so a real person can respond to you. We do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing.

No online payments

This website takes no payments and stores no payment details. All bookings are confirmed personally by our specialists, off-site.

What stays on your device

We use your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember small preferences: your chosen display currency, your saved wishlist, your last-seen opening journey, cached exchange rates, and that you've dismissed the cookie notice. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party services

To show live information, your browser fetches data directly from free public services: exchange rates (open.er-api.com) and destination weather (open-meteo.com). These requests are made from your device and are subject to those services' own policies. Aria's conversation runs in your browser — it is not sent to any AI service.
